QAagency is delighted to be working with a Manchester based supplier of Homeware, Kitchenware and Electrical products. Our client has been established for over 40 years and works alongside global manufacturers to source and develop the very best products in the industry.
Due to on-going high demand, we are assisting them in recruiting for a Quality Assurance Technician to join their QA department reporting to the QA Director.
For this role, you will primarily ensure products comply with all relevant testing standards and work proactively with merchandise and buying teams, to ensure critical path deadlines are met in relation to test reports, instruction manuals and customer gold seal approvals.
You will create and maintain technical files for relevant product areas to ensure safety of imported products. Technically assess products in relation to the general product safety regulations as well as keep track of the internal master trackers for orders placed and outstanding job required.
You will ideally have some knowledge of the product category, heating, cooling, audio, electrical accessories along with knowledge of relevant product standards and legislation.
You will need the ability to write instruction manuals and check artwork for legal requirements and understand and read pre-shipment inspection reports.
Due to the nature of the role you will need to have experience dealing with retailers and factories in Europe and the Far East.
